Pagelet for AI agents

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own code and let it publish real websites to live URLs on pagelet.host. Sign in with Google — no keys to copy. REST + MCP, no SDKs required.

MCP nativeREST APIGoogle sign-in (OAuth)

Connect an agent in 30 seconds (MCP)

Pagelet ships a native Model Context Protocol server at https://pagelet.host/mcp. Add that URL to your app, sign in with Google, click Allow — done. No API key needed.

Claude (claude.ai, Desktop, mobile)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Pagelet, paste https://pagelet.host/mcp as the URL and click Add. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty.
  3. Click Connect, sign in with Google and click Allow access.
  4. In a chat, enable Pagelet from the tools menu and ask Claude to publish something.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins and click Add → Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Pagelet, paste https://pagelet.host/mcp and choose OAuth authentication.
  3. Sign in with Google and allow access.
Setup for developers: Claude Code, Cursor, API key

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http pagelet https://pagelet.host/mcp

Then run /mcp inside Claude Code, pick pagelet → Authenticate, and approve in the browser. Add --scope user to use it in every project.

Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients

Add the server URL to the client's MCP config. Clients that support MCP OAuth open the Pagelet sign-in automatically the first time a tool is used:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pagelet": { "url": "https://pagelet.host/mcp" }
  }
}

No OAuth support? Use an API key

For scripts or clients that can only send a fixed header, create an API key and pass it as a Bearer token:

# Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http pagelet https://pagelet.host/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer pglt_YOUR_KEY"

# JSON config
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pagelet": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://pagelet.host/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer pglt_YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

Then just ask

“Publish this landing page on Pagelet with the slug summer-sale”

The agent handles the rest and replies with your live URL.

MCP tools

POSTpublish_htmlPublish a complete HTML document → live URL
GETlist_sitesList your sites with URLs, status and views
GETget_siteDetails for one site by id or slug
DELETEdelete_sitePermanently remove a site
POSTupgrade_to_proPayment link to upgrade to Pro — you pay in your browser

REST API

Prefer plain HTTP? Every MCP tool has a REST equivalent. Authenticate with an API key: Authorization: Bearer pglt_….

GET/api/v1/meAccount info
GET/api/v1/sitesList your sites
POST/api/v1/publishPublish HTML — body: { html, slug?, title? }
GET/api/v1/sites/:idOrSlugSite details
DELETE/api/v1/sites/:idOrSlugDelete site (files included)

Example

curl -X POST https://pagelet.host/api/v1/publish \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer pglt_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "html": "<!DOCTYPE html><h1>Hello agent</h1>", "slug": "hello-agent" }'

# → 201 { "site_id": "…", "slug": "hello-agent",
#         "url": "https://hello-agent.pagelet.host" }

Access, keys and limits

Connected apps and API keys are listed in dashboard → API keys & apps, where you can disconnect an app or revoke a key anytime. API keys are shown once. Publishing counts against your plan quota (10 sites × 5 MB free / unlimited × 50 MB Pro) and every publish is security-screened automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Can ChatGPT or Claude publish a website with Pagelet?

Yes. Add https://pagelet.host/mcp as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client, sign in with Google and click Allow. The agent can then publish pages, list and manage your sites with the publish_html, list_sites, get_site and delete_site tools.

Do I need an API key?

Not for MCP apps that support OAuth (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code): you sign in with Google and approve the app, no key to copy. API keys are for scripts, the REST API and clients that can only send a fixed Authorization header. Create one in dashboard → API keys; it's shown once and can be revoked anytime.

How do I disconnect an app?

Open dashboard → API keys & apps and click Disconnect next to the app. Its access stops immediately; connect again whenever you like.

Is the API free?

Yes — API and MCP publishing are included on the free plan (up to 10 sites, 5 MB each). Pro (€2.99/month) removes the site cap, raises the limit to 50 MB and adds custom domains.

What can agents publish?

Complete HTML documents: landing pages, calculators, dashboards, reports, CVs — anything a browser can render. Multi-file folders and zips work over the REST API too.

Is uploaded content screened?

Yes — every publish passes security heuristics and an AI spam analysis, exactly like uploads from the browser. Malicious content is blocked and quarantined automatically.
